Cresco Lines has carved out a niche in the steel industry. From plate steel to coils to steel tubing, we have hauled it all.

LOCAL FLATBED

 

We are located near the many steel mills in northern Indiana and the Chicago Metro area. Our team of 70 local drivers work to deliver coils locally for numerous customers in the region. Moving around 180 loads per day, we keep our drivers busy and our customers happy.

REGIONAL FLATBED

 

We have drivers who specialize in shipments within a 350 mile radius of Chicago, IL. These driver are dedicated to meet the customer’s needs in a timely and safe manner.

SPECIAL CRANE SERVICE

 

Cresco Lines has a machine that we call a “Kangaroo.” This machine was built to help our customers deliver their bundles of steel to hard to reach areas such as job sites. It looks like a cross between a forklift and a crane. It sits on the trailer and is attached by slots in the specially conformed trailer. Specially designed to load and unload bundles of steel, these machinesave our customers time and money, while keeping our drivers from having to wait to be unloaded. We use our Kangaroos locally and regionally, up to a 350 mile radius of Chicago, IL.

LONG HAUL FLATBED SERVICE

 

The majority of our drivers drive long haul. These drivers are out for two weeks at a time running our system.

BROKERAGE DEPARTMENT

 

Cresco Lines realizes that sometime our customers have freight loading in areas where we might not have availability at that time. Our brokerage department works with over 500 carrier partners to help fill those gaps. This allows Cresco Lines to provide the best possible service to our customers.
