Welcome to Cresco Lines. We are a privately owned local and over the road flatbed carrier. We have 48 state authority and service parts of Canada. Founded in 1966 by Chester Stranczek, we have grown to become a leader in the flatbed industry. Our niche in the steel industry has given us the ability to grow over the years and today we are as strong as ever.

 

We have a fleet of 215 owner operators and 70 company trucks. Cresco Lines has terminals in Hattiesburg, MS, Hope Mills, NC, and Philadelphia, PA. These terminals have enabled Cresco Lines to provide first rate service to our customers and provide our drivers with a stable company in which they can excel.

SAFETY POLICY

 

 

             Cresco Lines Inc. is committed to operating in a safe and professional manner. This applies to all aspects of our operation and all employees and drivers.

 

             Dispatchers are to make sure that drivers have the proper amount of hours to safely complete a run. They must also insure that drivers are aware of the proper loading and securing of loads prior to dispatch.

 

             Mechanics must make sure Tractors and Trailers are properly serviced, with a special emphasis on making sure all brakes are properly adjusted, tires are free of defects all lights are working an that the equipment is in safe operating condition per DOT regulations.

 

             Drivers must follow all Hours of Service Regulations and conduct both a Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections of their vehicles. They must also keep their Drivers Logs current up to the last change of duty status. It is the driver’s responsibility to not drive the vehicle if there are any safety defects. If the driver observes a Safety Defect, he/she must immediately call the shop foreman on duty for instructions of where to take the vehicle for repairs.
